When things go wrong, when others misunderstand us, we experience emotional pain. Many times we do not have a place to explore and express this pain, so it stays locked up inside us, growing a life of its own, creating consequences we would not wish for ourselves. We all need a place where we can let down our guard and begin to feel what we have long buried. We need time to learn about, understand, and explore all the possibilities of what we can be.
I have helped a wide variety of people learn how to cope with and alleviate emotional distress, through therapy groups, classes, workshops, retreats, and in psychotherapy sessions for individuals or couples. My training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy, family systems, chemical dependency, bodywork, and group dynamics equips me to work with a broad range of problems and personalities.
