It's a sign of health to seek improvement. When a person walks in my door, he or she wants change. It is a positive action. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I consider myself a facilitator for change. I conduct brief therapy as well as longer term psychotherapy in person as well as by phone and online. My theoretical orientation is an integration of cognitive-behavioral, family of origin, and family systems. My style is interactive. I utilize cognitive-behavioral methods which focus on the conscious and the present moment in order to understand and change our thinking and behavior. I work with adult men and women, adolescents, and children (3 years and older). I also lead workshops and group therapy on anger management, money issues, and addiction.
